Pre-Baby Date Night
So less than 5 weeks 'til baby is due. Adam and I understand (OK, we don't actually comprehend it), that our lives will never be the same. The days of 'me' and 'us' will no longer have the same meaning. So to surprise me and to be able to spend a little pre-baby "us" time, Adam surprised me with a dinner date! He made reservations at my favorite restaurant in Peoria - a real treat for us!! The food was amazing and I had a great time! [I especially loved the fact that my belly barely fit in the booth we were seated in - hehe]

That looks like fun. I remember our last night out together about 2 weeks before our son was born. And that was over 4 years ago. Just a nice memory.

I love the name of your blog. I'm so excited for you. It sounds like your world is about to change (forever) in less than a month! So nice that your husband took you out to dinner. Yes, savor these days because date nights do change (cell phone is on...worried about babysitter...conversation is entirely about your little one). Did you sit on the same side of the booth all dinner??? I love it when I see couples do that. It's so sweet and lovely and awwwww.
